Library Work ‘Grossly Defective’

One of the chief concrete contractors working on the $102 million Indianapolis Central Library expansion has been barred from the project for “grossly defective work.” The library is looking at four other firms to find someone qualified to repair extensive structural damage at the site, library officials said Friday.
One of the problems is beams intended to support the weight of the new, six-story addition, are cracked.”
