Librarian eager to make difference in India

JCWilliams writes “News from Maine. A library technology specialist and librarian at Gardiner Area High School and Maine resident will be setting up a library at the Siddhartha School in Ladakh. She will be spending nearly six months of her time and expertise setting up a library and teaching English there, and all the books she can afford to buy.

Blesh leaves Feb. 21 for India, on a five-and-a-half month sabbatical from the high school and between now and her departure in February, she’s looking to raise funds to buy books for the school’s library.
