According to the Times-Leader Newspaper, the best non-bar pickup spot in Wilkes-Barre, PA is “The local library”. The first runner-up is some place called Wegmans.
The article is good for a few other tidbits for would-be Wilkes-Barrians (Wilkes-Barriers?) such as “Best Place For A New Pipe/Herbs” and “Best Alternative Lifestyle Bar”.
