An an Accumulation of Random Facts and Paragraphs From The Blog People on Michael Gorman

At the risk of beating an old dead horse here’s just one last post on Gormangate. It’s a conglomerate of Gormangate posts from the blog people.
I’ve been busy trying to finish editing an edition of The Reference Librarian, so I’ve been behind in my blogosphere reading. Today I finally found some time to read the unpublishable blog people’s subculture. I used a notoriously inefficient search engine to retrieve heaps of irrelevant rubbish in nanoseconds to see just what the blog people think (or their subclass who are interested in computers and the glorification of information). The quality of the writing in the blogs I saw leads me to believe many of the Blog People are, like me, busy with other pursuits, such as sustained reading or writing of complex texts. Luckily, my intellectual needs are met by an accumulation of random facts and paragraphs, which is exactly what I’ve collected here. In no particular order are some of the posts I found interesting.

You may want to start with Revenge of the Blog People!, the LJ piece that started it all, though you may want to back track a bit and hit Google and God’s Mind first.
