An Anonymous Patron writes “Here are two stories about the radical reorganization at the Free Library of Philadelphia where 20 branches will be run without librarians.
This first link is to a story about a protest at the Wyoming Branch–slated to become an “express branch” or “McBranch” as us Philadelphia librarians like to call them.
The second link is to a story about 72 librarians at the Free Library sending a letter of protest to Director Elliot Shelkrot.”
