This is hilarious. I snorted in an especially inelegant fashion over the first-place entry in the “political speech” category. Heh.
I do feel obligated to point out that these are NOT the results of the well-known Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest, but the more upstart (and arguably funnier) Lyttle Lytton Contest.
As the mastermind behind “Lyttle Lytton” puts it:
“The problem is, most entries are so long that they’re not amusingly bad — they’re just flat-out unreadable. The Lyttle Lytton Contest forces entrants to keep their masterpieces down to 25 words or less.”
