    A story with the words “teen” “harder” and “group” in it. That’ll make for some interesting search term hits I bet.

    other articles in the issue
    Pages had a lot of great articles in this current issue. One that was interesting (but not on the net so I couldn’t link it) was how authors and publishers can try to manipulate making the best seller lists. Apparently it’s common knowledge that only certain book stores report their sales so the authors will try to do book signings at those stores to increase their odds of making the best seller lists.

    Working harder?
    Are libraries working harder to attract teens? I’m not in the public sector, so I don’t know. I went on a job interview many years ago at a public library and asked the director if they did much YA programming. She said, almost snorting in disgust, “Why would we? They never come…”

    I added that to the list of jobs I was SO GLAD I didn’t get.
