Columbus GA Council refuses to fund controversial sculpture for library

Anonymous Patron writes “Ledger-Enquirer Reports From Georgia Frustrated that it wasn’t consulted before the contract was signed, Columbus Council sent a message to the Muscogee County Library Board Tuesday that it doesn’t intend to bail the panel out of an agreement to spend $250,000 in tax money on a controversial work of art.”
