A 52-year-old Virginia Tech librarian was charged last week after the parent of a 16-year-old girl notified police that the two were having a sexual relationship at Newman Library.
According to a Virginia Tech police report, the girl’s parents found an e-mail the girl sent to Armstrong in which she wrote that she might be pregnant.
After they confronted the girl, who also worked in the library, the parents contacted police, who began an investigation.
