Study to examine combining new public, college libraries In Alaska

More than a dozen area residents who spoke at the Homer City Council meeting Monday night got their wish, as the council voted to pull back the reins on a combined library resolution until a feasibility study can be completed.

The new plan sets a timetable for the city, library personnel and the Kachemak Bay Campus of Kenai Peninsula College, to develop a cost benefit and space analysis for moving the college library into the new Homer public library.
