Ruling Expected on Library Internet Filters

SomeOne writes The Washington Post Says The Supreme Court this month is expected to issue a landmark ruling in the ongoing battle to keep kids from seeing the worst the Internet has to offer.

In May 2002, a special three-judge panel in Philadelphia sided with civil libertarians, ruling that the law was unconstitutional because it prevented adults from viewing constitutionally protected material, a ruling that put the case before the Supreme Court. The law requires filters to be placed on all public library computers, regardless of whether children or adults use them.
