NBC’s Tim Russert dies of apparent heart attack

Host of NBC’s “Meet the Press” and its Washington bureau chief has died. Russert was also an author. More here.

    Nice, fair journalist
    He seemed like a nice fair journalist, one on whom others could model themselves and their careers.

    Being a Buffalonian I know Tim Russert as a kindred spirit, and my Mom I met him once or twice, and heard him speak at St. Bonnie’s.

    My uncle went to HS at Canisus with him in Buffalo.

    I read his book about his dad a few years ago. I bought it primarily because it was about a South Buffalonian.

    Let this serve as a reminder to all of us to cherish each moment we have with our loved ones, and take care of your health.
