Librarian To Advise McDonald’s On Food Advice

McDonald’s Corp., a magnet for criticism that fast food helps make kids fat, has signed on some accomplished moms to get the skinny on nutrition.
The nine women come from six countries and include four former Olympic athletes, among them U.S. speedskater Bonnie Blair and Italian cross-country skier Stefania Belmondo, as well as a childhood development expert, a chef, a librarian (Kim Carter), an artist and a Parent Teacher Association president. They will serve one-year terms on the panel, according to McDonald’s.
