    Books not perfect
    Quotes like this from a seller of a book holding device show that the book is not the perfect information transfer device.
    This revolutionary product has been developed to allow its user to read a book in comfort on a variety of surfaces, without the aching hands and discomfort usually experienced through holding books.
    Aching hands??
    Discomfort??

    Lies, all lies!! There is no pain or discomfort in reading a book. The smell of the book wafts up and erases all pain and discomfort.

    While at a submarine museum in New London, CT I saw something called the Bookflip in the museum store. This story reminded me of it. http://www.bookflip.com The device was created by a sailor that read alot in his off hours.

    While having to hold a book open will never stop me from reading, it can be troublesome to hold a heavy book open while reading in bed. I purchased the PhiferReader at a local bookstore a few months ago and use it practically every day! It works for hardbacks and paperbacks without damaging the book.
