Google has announced ‘improvements’ to its toolbar that allow the user to customize their Internet Explorer searches. Story from Red Herring and Forbes.

    Get a real browser!
    As noted in the “Red Herring” version of the article, these features have been available in the Firefox version of the Google Toolbar for a while now:

    Better yet, you can get the open source Googlebar that includes a whole host of other features in addition to the basic Google Toolbar tools:

    You mean that real browser that had a security issue (that would have allowed hacking of people’s journals) that made LJ (livejournal) change all the users to having subdomains? Which means they took yet another thing away that I was paying for and gave me : extra voice posts. Yeah. Thanks firefox and LJ. Besides, I’ve used firefox and don’t like it.

    I use opera at work and would use it at home but opera will not play nicely with my isp’s dial up accelarator program so I have to use IE (which is my second favourite browser).

    Each browser has features that some people like and some people don’t. And, given what your take on reality is…they are all “real” browsers.
