A Hillsborough County judge sentenced a 36-year-old man to 40 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing child pornography.
Stephen Chesser was arrested last year after he viewed and printed pornography on a computer in the library of Hillsborough Community College.
Tampa Police then searched the home he shared with his parents and found nearly 3,000 magazines, videos and pictures involving child pornography.
Not just for that
He got 40 years for all of his crimes. Looking at kiddie porn at HCC’s library was just part of it. The cache of kiddy porn he had in storage was what really did him in, hundreds and hundreds of sick twisted illegal images.
He admitted he has an illness so he asked for leniency. An illness my arse, the flu is an illness… heck I’ll even go along with alcoholism is an illness, but looking at (and distributing) pictures of children forced to have sex is a disgusting perversion and a crime.
In the St. Petersburg Times article it was noted that he said he was embarrased and ashamed. Well you should be you pervert. Geez, if I did that I’d blow my own head off to save someone else the trouble.

I can’t justify killing anyone ex post facto for any reason. Prison sure, execution no.
I don’t know how many people you have watched die, or how many you have stayed with while they died, but few have the happy death we all desire. Me, I’m certain I’m having a happy death, but I can’t -through every fiber of my moral being- condone killing anyone because of a crime for which they have been convicted.
We have plenty of prisons in which to make them regret their crime. We do not need to kill people.
