A former library worker suspected of pulling a trio of bank heists will go to trial in December.
Midland County Circuit Judge Jonathan E. Lauderbach on Wednesday ruled that Jacquelyn J. King can face a jury Dec. 1.
Lauderbach’s ruling follows a forensic examination that determined the 61-year-old Midland woman is competent to stand trial and assist in her own defense.
“Ex-librarian”?
Is she a librarian or not? The title says “Ex-librarian” and the lede says “a former library worker”…and you’ve tagged it “Librarians”.
Librarians who’s a librarian
When our county coordinator created County ID badges for the staff of the library, he had “Librarian” put on ALL the badges, not just the staff with an MLIS degree. I had to point out that the title “Librarian” only refered to a degreed professional. The others were “Library Assistants” or had other titles.
