…I was pleased to see over 200 participants in a seminar organized by the National Library on the theme, “Enhance Knowledge and Skills: the Retooled Librarian.” …if I were a librarian, I would argue about the term “retooled,” which is better used to describe spare parts for broken cars. Any librarian will benefit from enhanced knowledge and skills, but do they require “re-tooling”?
