A Short Blurb Says The DAVE MATTHEWS BAND have collected more than 50,000 books for New York City’s public schools after hosting a two-day book drive.
The event, which took place over the weekend, was held on New York’s Randalls Island.
More than a dozen schools will get 40,000 books, while another 10,000 books will be sent to the band’s home state, where they will be distributed by the Virginia Literacy Foundation, reports MTV News.
