Her name is Sarah Wisdom (appropriate), and she’s a librarian at the Yuma (AZ) Main Library.
She’s also rides a Harley-Davidson, and enjoys her time off taking road trips and as a member of the Wind Warriors, a bike group in Scottsdale.
Here’s a profile of Sarah from the Yuma Sun.

Qwah dinky dink?
Wow. I just got back from checking out the LIS grad program? At Wayne State University no less. Then I come home and find this article about Sarah (its my first time looking at this site). My name is also Sarah, I’m 26, and I too am from Romulus, MI. How funny to have found this article. I was looking up more information as to whether or not I should go into the Library and Information Sciences. I think the powers that be are telling me to go for it. Or maybe I’m just being superstitious. Nevertheless, I am definitely going to continue with the admission process. Good article!
Re: Qwah dinky dink?
Then again the Powers that be could be just telling you to invest in a motorcycle.
Re: Qwah dinky dink?
It’s fate, clearly. Keep reading LISNews and go for it.
Re: Qwah dinky dink?
Thanks for the reassurance.:)! I’m definitely going to continue reading LISNews. This is a great site. Regarding GregS’s comment, I already have a 1978 Pinto Moped. Can we count it as my motorcycle?
Re: Qwah dinky dink?
Are you really sure you want GregS’s attention?
He might find you interesting regardless of your current method of transport (if you could vote for ALA counselor).
Yeah Sarah!
I went through Wayne State’s LIS program with Sarah Wisdom. She was a cool person, and she was on track to be a great librarian. I’m glad to see that she’s giving her library good PR and working to break the dreaded librarian stereotype.
