Anonymous Patron writes Comic Books for Young Adults.
The Web site is designed “to introduce librarians (as well as teachers and parents) to the rich, diverse offerings from today’s comics book publishers, and to encourage the acquisition of comic books and graphic novels in libraries serving young adults.”
Site is pretty outdated
There’s been so much more released since the page was published (2001). In 2001, the only graphic novel we probably had was Maus. Now we have a small, but growing, and heavily circulated graphic novel/manga section in the young adult area. My 13 y.o. regularly gives suggestions to our YA librarian, who knows to listen to her constituency!
