Clinton book already being pirated online

David Rothman writes “Oh, the shortcomings of Digital Rights Management. Bill Clinton’s memoirs are already being pirated, apparently from a digital edition. Of course, pirates could also have scanned an old-fashioned paper copy. Time for more convenient distribution and better business models to reduce the incentive for rip-offs? Needless to say, well-stocked national digital library systems in the U.S. and elsewhere could help with provisions for fair compensation for content owners. More at TeleRead. Original item spotted on the Blackmask e-store site, one of my favorites.”
