Buffalo Library Closing Decision Delayed Til Sept. 1

Erie County library officials will delay for a week a decision on how many and which libraries (out of a possible twenty) would be cut off from the county system next year. The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library board was scheduled to meet Thursday to decide the fate of the county’s 52-branch system, but that decision has been pushed to Sept. 1 to allow further discussion.     Sad state of affairs
    Libraries close down, yet pubs and clubs increase in numbers. It is a very sad state of affairs…

    We knew that beer trucks could park in fire lanes because they were considered emergency vehicles, but it is high time they gave the bars the money the need.

    Can you still play those lottery type games every few minutes at the bar? I miss the place on Seneca Street in South Buffalo near Cazenovia… can’t remember the name though….. good times.
