Cannellos-Simms recently discovered a book tardy by 48 years – and the fine she paid beats the record cited in the Guinness Book of World Records.

That’s amazing. My local libraries have the occasional forgiveness week that would have cancelled that out. Also, I’m pretty sure the maximum fine is the cost of the book. Anyway, I’m glad for the extra funding this library got.
