Banning books in the land of the free

A Flea-brained librarian writes Here’s A Good One! Bart Mills, columnist at the Lima, Ohio, News, says, in his column, “Banning books in the land of the free” he hopes that whenever some pinheaded school board member or flea-brained librarian pushes to remove a book from the shelves, 100 eager and curious kids run to the nearest library, bookstore or Web site and de-vour the offending text. He goes On:

I hope the glorious curiosity innate to every young person prompts them to the lurk around the library stacks like mad junkies in search of a fix. And I hope those banners of books realize what they’ve prompted and feel great gnashed-teeth anguish at their foolhardy efforts.

Flea-brained librarians unite!
