A Flea-brained librarian writes “Here’s A Good One! Bart Mills, columnist at the Lima, Ohio, News, says, in his column, “Banning books in the land of the free” he hopes that whenever some pinheaded school board member or flea-brained librarian pushes to remove a book from the shelves, 100 eager and curious kids run to the nearest library, bookstore or Web site and de-vour the offending text. He goes On:
I hope the glorious curiosity innate to every young person prompts them to the lurk around the library stacks like mad junkies in search of a fix. And I hope those banners of books realize what they’ve prompted and feel great gnashed-teeth anguish at their foolhardy efforts.
Flea-brained librarians unite!
Has he read Tomeboy’s research

When I first looked at the comments to this article someone had marked Nbruce’s comment that was titled, “Has he read Tomeboy’s research” and contained the text “Maybe he should check out what else is being censored by librarians?” was marked as “offtopic”. Are we a wee bit uptight?

The article about pinhead librarians discusses the book Forever Amber
The book has an excellent cover. They use a painted portait, cut it off just right, and a regular potrait is made to offend 1940’s sensabilities.
