Asimov Collection given to WVU Libraries

InfoWhale writes “Isaac Asimov is numbered among the greatest writers in the mid-20th century’s golden age of science fiction ….But pound for pound, says West Virginia University alumnus Larry Shaver, Asimov wrote more nonfiction. And boy, did he write a lot of pounds.

Shaver, a Fairmont native who now lives in Oklahoma, should know. He has hefted, owned and read each of the nearly 600 books Asimov wrote or edited in his 72 years of life, before the author put down his pen for good in 1992.”
