Sony
The only new reader out that I know of is Sony’s and its not really out yet, first deliveries should start the middle of next week. Whether a library will buy one… I dunno… there are possibly legitmate reasons to do so… I won’t know for sure until I’ve seen one.

electronic readers
I think it would be a brilliant idea for students with a reading list to get together – they’d be able to walk into a library and get a copy of every single book on the list in one go, and then get on with the task in hand, instead of the usual effort it takes to get even a few books together. Is this maybe the future?
