There are numerous travel awards and grants available from ALA to subsidize a library staff’s travel and registration at ALA’s 2007 Annual Conference in Washington DC, June 21-27, 2007.
Many awards start at $1,000, and most cover airfare, hotel and a per diem for staff. Applying for the awards is relatively straight forward, and winning an award or grant enables staff to attend the premier library conference for free.
