David Dillard pointed the way to a Nice Column From NM where Susan Magee, from the UNM General Library, reminds her students how useful the library can be.
“First, searching Google may not be the best answer. In fact, for a research paper based on other scholarly research, it often is not. Your professor probably said, “don’t use the Internet for your research” in the instructions for the assignment. He or she is concerned about the validity of the information you find on the Internet and your ability to ascertain the authors’ credentials.“
