UK Library-based post office plans ‘nonsense’

A Lancashire MP has branded an idea to open Post Office counters in Lancashire’s county libraries as “nonsense“.
Lancashire County Council is considering the option after 58 offices were earmarked for closure across Lancashire. The council is looking at several options to maintain the provision of postal services, including a mooted idea to offer ‘post offices’ in libraries. Do you want stamps with that copy of Harry Potter?
