UK Librarians Worried About Terrorism Bill

Librarians in the UK are worried about the provisions of a law being considered by Parliament that makes it an offense to disseminate information that leads to terrorist acts.

says Paul Ayris, director of University College London’s library services. “Guy Fawkes was a terrorist. Am I meant to remove any reference to him? This bill could put librarians in the impossible role of moral gatekeepers.”
