Trade your stereotype in for a shiny new one

    How we stereotype library users.
    Then there are the librarians and other library workers who stereotype library users/library customers/library consumers !

    Thank goodness!
    I’m glad someone was bold enough to point out the new stereotype. Although, if the truth be known (or dug out of archives), in the 1960s we students were also hearing about how we were changing stereotypes of librarians (particularly about men entering the field). I think this kind of hype is a form of crumbs thrown to the pre-powerful, still hungry, newbies.
