TLA President Goes Sky Diving

Mary H. Musgrave notes: “Eva Poole, our current TLA President and 1994 Alum of TALL Texans will be
parachuting out of a perfectly good airplane next Saturday, Sept. 13. As
part of the City of Denton’s United Way campaign this year a challenge was
set forth that if we could meet our goal the city manager would jump out of
a plane with those colleagues who could raise a certain amount of money. Eva
enthusiastically allowed me to enter her in the running for this event and
we succeeded. The jumps are scheduled to take place about 2pm, but the
picnic area opens just after 12noon. The event will be held at Sky Dive
Texas, about 15 miles west of Denton on U.S. Highway 380 near Decatur. For
