The (your name here) library takes a look at The town of Gilmanton, NH, and it’s new library. Across the street from the Gilmanton Elementary School, the former barn is 85 percent done and 100 percent privately funded, missing only a paint job, carpeting, furniture and, of course, books.
And for a mere million bucks, an interest-earning endowment for basic operating costs, the library can be named after you.
A reader recommends naming the library after native daughter and Peyton Place author Grace Metalious.
