    And unfortunately, this is almost always the problem (in terms of fundraising, not in terms of grabbing a bargain) for Friends library book sales. They frequently undercharge for the majority of books, and are often taken advantage of by unscrupulous dealers, who turn around and charge a more realistic rate on their websites. To be fair, not all dealers take advantage. The FOLS try to keep dealers at bay during the “preview” times of the sale, but it’s a constant struggle, as you can tell from some of the discussion boards.
