because of the self-destruct feature. If I purchase a book or CD, the only way it should be destroyed is by something done by me or act of God. I concur with Jason’s hope of someone else utilizing the same or similar technology, but in a non-proprietary format. Didn’t Sony clue in to Apple’s slow start out of the box because of their proprietary format?
