The Singapore National Library building has won an award for environmental friendliness.

Kathleen writes “Singapore’s new National Library building has won an award for environmental friendliness. The Building and Construction Authority has awarded it the Green Mark Platinum award, something it is giving out for the first time. The My Library movement creates opportunities for all members of the public to take a stake in the library as a space for the people.”
