The Next Big Thing in Web Searching?

Gary Price has an Interesting Tid Bit on a new company called Kaltix (pronounced call-ticks).

He says it was started by members of Stanford’s PageRank Project. According to the group’s page, Kaltix was formed to, “commercialize personalized web search technologies.” The Kaltix homepage contains the words, “you decide” and “coming soon”. Members of PageRank Project have written several papers that we’ve mentioned on ResourceShelf during the past year. A Kaltix spokesperson said they are NOT commenting about either the company (what they are up to) or their technology.
