The Ann Arbor and other points curser gives up!

Bob writes “Fredric Maxwell who makes a point of cursing out librarians, ‘Because they get paid to take it’ has dropped his federal case against the Ann Arbor Public Library. This “gentleman” has evidently moved on. Unfortunately, I’m sure other librarians will be meeting this paragon of free speech.”

    Deeper Issues?
    At first, I was just glad this creep didn’t get his way and decided to drop the suit. Then I went a-huntin’on the Internet and found a piece he wrote for Library Juice in 2002 http://www.libr.org/Juice/issues/vol5/LJ_5.32.html . It turns out his mother was a librarian who committed suicide! So, maybe he has some unresolved issues with librarians in general? Hmmm…that’s kind of scary, actually.
