…so says this poster over at Live Journal. Here’s a flickr page with a print of the Sony DRM Reader ad that claims it’s ‘sexier than a librarian’, and here’s another photo of the same ad campaign, on a set of steps.
On his blog, Library Stuff, Steven M. Cohen suggests a possible boycott of the reader. Agree? Disagree? and Do we care?

Why boycott this one product when I’m sure we could find a way to make ourselves look needy and stupid all year round?
New rule: next person that gets a burr under their saddle about the “image of librarians” is getting an image of my thumb in their eye.
