Almost everyone on the planet who had access to television watched the first moon landing, back on the night of July 20, 1969. What the TV viewers didn’t know is that they weren’t seeing the best images.

So the human race makes this small accomplishment, and then
Nobody thought to make as an exact copy as could be made of the original tapes?? High quality copies should have been made of everything from the moon landing and those multiple copies should have been stored in multiple locations with the knowledge of what they were storing.
On another note the conspiracy theorist are going to love this line. It turned out, the Australian tape wasn’t the moonwalk; it was a simulation from 1967. But it made Nafzger and others keen to find the originals.
Simulation? Right…..

NASA really stepped in it with this one. If they went through with the book some people argued that this was giving the hoax to much credibility in having a book to rebut the faked moon landing theory. But now that NASA has pulled the book the conspiracy theorist say, “Aha, you pulled the book because the moon landing was fake.”
A no win situation for NASA.
