Russia and Germany: A Reunion of Bookworms

Here’s A NYTimes Story on how Russia chose the Frankfurt Book Fair, which opened Tuesday, to trumpet its literary comeback.

I also heard a story on NPR today, but have no time to track it down. Maybe someone can post a link below.

    National Public Radio?
    Are you certain you heard it on NPR yesterday? I couldn’t locate the story on All Things Considered for yesterday, and “Frankfurt Book Fair” didn’t turn up anything from yesterday using the search option at npr.org.

    p.s. You need to modify your lameness filter so that acronyms are permitted. Aparently, typing the initials for National Public Radio will trigger the lameness filter.

    That damn lameness filter might be more trouble than it’s worth. As for NPR… It may have been more of a Russian writers story, it just didn’t stick in the ol’ noggin very well.
