Residents express views for, against book ban

James Nimmo sent along This One on the overflow crowd of Montgomery County (TX)residents lined up outside commissioners court Monday morning, with a majority of them expressing their disapproval of a juvenile sex education book that was recently removed from the shelves of the county library.

\”It\’s Perfectly Normal: Changing Bodies, Growing Up, Sex and Sexual Health,\” continues to be quite a bother to more than a few people out there.

\”Sure, I want children to be educated; but we need to educate them in morality as well,\” she said. \”There are several sources of sex education that give wholesome descriptions — this is not the only way.\”
