Release of Woodward/Bernstein Watergate papers delayed till spring

Public release of the Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein Watergate papers, scheduled for March 2004, has been delayed till early spring 2005. The Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center (U-Texas @ Austin), which bought the collection in 2003, has finished processing the collection and is working on creating finding aids, indexes, and other research guides. The papers do not include the identity of Deep Throat and other confidential sources. That information won’t be revealed by Woodward and Bernstein until after the sources die. [Daily Texan, Oct. 21]
