The Read Aloud Australia program, giving parents 2 million books over four years, sounds like a great idea to foster literacy. But someone has managed to put a fly in the ointment.

According to The Australian, concerned citizens is using the program to bring renewed awarness to the Protective Parents Committee’s demand to label books (“We’re not talking about censorship,”) not unlike movies and books are labeled in the U.S.
