Protest targets ‘child porn’ issue in state public libraries

Read this story today in the timesargus.com about another on-going battle over “porn” in the library.

“Upset by comments by the State Librarian, a group of central Vermont area residents appeared before the state Board of Libraries Tuesday morning to picket and press for a law change removing exemptions that allow libraries to possess child pornography.”

Once again, the protestors use the guise of “‘We’re here to protect the children who are abused, who are sexually molested,’ said Bill Day of Barre Town.” in opposition to free speach.
