The Boston Globe Says Spend two minutes in his house, and it’s pretty clear that Luke Salisbury has the collecting gene. He has 800 or so vintage paperbacks from the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s that he collects not for the prose, but the provocative cover art.
The evocative covers of the vintage books poke at the social mores of the time, suggesting violence, sexual trysts, and interracial coupling.

Some of the trashiest covers appear on classic literary works by respected authors such as William Faulkner and F. Scott Fitzgerald.
