Princeton Library acquires literary magazine’s archives

Archives of one of the most prestigious literary journals will soon reside within the walls of the University library system.

Editors of the Hudson Review, a half-century-old New York magazine of literature and arts, have chosen Princeton to house its valuable archives.

“These holdings are filled with original research materials such as literary correspondence, manuscripts, notebooks, photographs and other materials that scholars need to study particular authors, literary movements, works, etc,” Don Skemer, curator of manuscripts for the University’s Department of Rare Books and Special Collections, said in an email.
