President: University of Wyoming needs more faculty, better research library

The Billings Gazette has some Kind Words from University of Wyoming interim president Tom Buchanan. He said said the university needs more money for library acquisitions. Buchanan also said the quality of the university’s library was slipping, in part because inflation had chipped away at the library’s ability to purchase new books, journals and other research materials. A strong library is essential in recruiting top-notch faculty and graduate students, who want to know they’ll have access to research materials.
