I’m surprised that there doesn’t seem to have been an LISNews item yet this week about the new novel Pamela Anderson “wrote.” One reviewer says Star is “not badly written, as trash goes … One wonders, though, whether Ms Anderson’s fans are really the kind of people who can be bothered to read a book.”
And the answer to the question in this LISNews item’s department: There’s a “bonus pinup” printed on the reverse side of the dust jacket!

just your average book … One wonders, though, whether Ms Anderson’s fans are really the kind of people who can be bothered to read a book”
“not badly written, as trash goes
Considering how much trash gets circulated at a library I don’t see why this should be treated with any less consideration.
And don’t forget, men may want her but a lot of women would like to be her. All? Most? Close to most? No, but still a lot.
Re:just your average book
Or many men would like more women to be like her. But “a lot of women would like to be her”? Considering the population of the world, I guess this is almost accurate.
It is brillant marketing though. Some will buy it for the text, some for the picture.
Re:just your average book
You have a woman who has made herself well-known and successful, not just for 15 minutes but going on what? 10 years now? And her only real talent is being blond and big-bosomed. Most women probably thinks she a tramp but a lot would still like to have her success.
